At this time, we do not have a brick and mortar location. All purchases are done through our website. However, we are based out of Lowell, Indiana.

Our products are made in India.

Many of our pieces are made of Kantha embroidered cotton.  Kantha is a running stitch that joins together fabric.  Our Kantha products are handcrafted in India. They are one-of-a-kind pieces made from repurposed fabric. Because of the nature of vintage fabric, small imperfections such as tears or stains may be present.

We want you to be happy with your purchase and avoid the hassles of returns. Please reach out to us if you have any questions regarding the fit of any garment(s). We are happy to answer any question that you might have. Please keep in mind the nature of these items being one-of-a-kind results in a costly process to restock a return.

Return Policy

We issue refunds for returns in the form of store credit applied to an electronic gift card.

You have 30 days after receiving your item(s) to request a return by email at support@ziastella.com and ship the item(s) back to us. 

In that email you need to provide your name, item #(s), order #(s) and reason for the return. You will then receive a form to be filled out and sent back with your return as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

Original shipping costs will not be refunded and you are responsible for return shipping. Once we’ve received and inspected your return you will receive a store credit in the form of an electronic gift card emailed to you.


To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags still attached. 

Zia Stella is not responsible for lost or damaged packages in shipping. Once a package leaves our hands it is out of our control. However, we do offer Route Shipping Protection at checkout so that if your package ever gets lost or damaged you have insurance through them. If your item(s) are damaged in shipping Route Insurance should be contacted and their procedure followed.

Once we receive and process your return, we will issue you store credit in the form of an electronic gift card that will be sent to the email address you have provided us. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, gift cards are non-returnable. 

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Orders are typically shipped within 1-3 business days. You will receive a shipping notification via the email you provide at checkout when your order ships.

Once your order has been released for shipping you will receive an email notification with the tracking information.

Please contact us right away at support@ziastella.com to submit a cancellation request. As long as your order has not shipped, we will be able to cancel it.

Shipping rates vary by your location and the size of your order.The easiest way to find out the exact shipping rate for your location and order is to go through the process of placing an order. When you reach the checkout page, you will see a drop down menu with different shipping options and their costs for your exact location and order.

For both Kantha items and silk items, we recommend hand washing and line drying.  These are repurposed vintage fabrics that will do best with some extra love.

Zia Stella gift cards are the perfect gift when you are shopping for someone else who loves ethically produced items that are as unique as they are. 

Gift cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them. Our gift cards have no additional processing fees. Please note: We do not mail out gift cards they are all sent electronically by email. Sending them as a gift is as simple as forwarding the email to the giftee.
